Instructions: How to create advanced settings, including Badges for Achievement levels, custom attribution codes, advanced programming (with HTML/JavaScript)
Advanced - Urls:
Step 1: Navigate to the Advanced tab and the Urls sub-tab. Click Add New to add additional domain names. Click SAVE to secure any changes.
- Note: the URL created in step 1 will be displayed here and will also be presented the Primary url
Advanced - Achievement Levels (aka Badges):
One way to gamify your Peer-to-Peer Microsite is to add Badges that can be displayed on team and personal pages.
Step 1: Navigate to the Advanced tab and the Achievement Levels sub-tab. Click Add New to create a badge.
Step 2: Create your Support Achievement Level including the Name, the Type of achievement, Badge image, and Requirement to achieve. Click on ASSOCIATE to create.

- Type: User can select the type of action taken by the fundraiser from the list of: Added contacts to address book, Amount of money (raised), Exceeding fundraising goal, Number of donations, Number of page visitors, Number of team members.
- Requirements: You will also need to set the requirement to receive the badge. For example, if your type is Amount of money (raised), you will need to set the total dollar threshold for a member to earn the badge.
Step 3: Add multiple achievement levels
- Note: Under ACTIONS use the ellipse to delete an achievement level
Advanced - Custom Attribution Codes (for transaction records)
Each participant who registers or donates will result in a transaction within the Donations App > Transactions. If you wish to consistently assign a custom code to each transaction, you can designate that value here.
Step 1: Continue with the Advanced tab and navigate to the Custom Attribution Codes sub-tab.
Step 2: Enter the value you wish to attribute to your transactions in one or more of the custom code fields (limit 8)
Step 3: Click SAVE to secure your changes.
Advanced - Settings (Payment Gateway)
Your account may have multiple payment gateways (i.e. for a C3 vs. a C4). Here you can set the preferred default for your peer-to-peer.
Step 1: Continue with the Advanced tab and navigate to the Settings sub-tab.
Step 2: Click SAVE to secure your changes.
Advanced - Developer (if CSM enabled in CharityEngine)
Your account may be connected to the ChairtyEngine CMS for a hosted web site. Here you can complete advanced JavaScript Code to customize your web site. If you are interested in learning more about the CharityEngine CMS feature, please contact your account manager.
Step 1: Continue with the Advanced tab and navigate to the Developer sub-tab.
Step 2: Select your CMS Web Site as hosted by CharityEngine.
Step 3: Insert your JavaScript Code
Step 4: Click SAVE to secure your changes.
Advanced - Security (Cookie Notification)
Your account may be connected to the ChairtyEngine CMS for a hosted web site. Here you can complete advanced JavaScript Code to customize your web site. If you are interested in learning more about the CharityEngine CMS feature, please contact your account manager.
Step 1: Continue with the Advanced tab and navigate to the Security sub-tab.
Step 2: To enable the Visitor Cookie Notice toggle to Yes
