1. Gift Anniversary Series: Celebrate your donors and inspire future contributions. Automatically send one-year anniversary emails to show your appreciation for their support and encourage another gift. 

2. Web Form Abandonment Series: Reconnect with potential donors who viewed but didn’t complete your donation form. Automatically follow up with a reminder, capturing those who may have intended to give but got distracted or forgot to complete the form.  

3. Declined Payment Attempt Series: Recover donations from declined payments. Automatically reach out to donors whose payments were unsuccessful, offering them a chance to provide an alternative payment method. 

4. Online Now Series: Connect with visitors actively browsing your CharityEngine-created pages—donation forms, event registrations, advocacy campaigns, P2P pages, shopping carts, and more. Automatically send targeted messages to guide them toward their next step with your organization. 

Customers with access to our Communication Series functionality can find the new workflows by navigating to Campaigns > Automate > Communication Series and then clicking the plus (+) sign to get started. 

New Manual Badges for Contact, Household, and Organization Records
We introduced enhancements to our badge functionality, allowing you to manually create and assign badges to contact, household, and organization records. Currently, the system automatically applies preconfigured badges when a record meets specific criteria.  

With this update, you now have the added flexibility to add custom badges tailored to your organization’s needs without any data mapping requirements.  

To create a manual badge, navigate to the configuration screen > Contacts > Badges, and click the plus sign (+) to add a new badge. In the Type field, choose the new Manual badge type and customize it as desired. Once your badge is created, you can assign it to a specific record by opening the record’s edit screen (using the pencil icon) and enabling the badge under the new Badges tab.  

This enhancement provides more control and personalization, making organizing and highlighting important details within your records easier.

New “Can Solicit” and “Do Not Solicit” Badges 

You can now easily identify whether a donor can be solicited directly from their contact record with our new "Can Solicit" and “Do Not Solicit” badges. This badge provides a quick visual cue to streamline your donor engagement efforts.  

To enable this feature, click Configuration > Contacts > Badges and click the plus sign (+) to create a new badge. Select "May Solicit" in the Type field to configure the badge. Repeat the process for the “Do Not Solicit” badge. Once the badges are set up, you can assign them to individual records under the communications preferences panel. Toggle on or off to see the opened or closed lock icon in the record’s badge bar.
