Clean, accurate data is the foundation of every successful fundraising campaign. CharityEngine offers robust data enrichment services that help keep donor records accurate, complete, and ready for outreach. These services allow you to initiate data hygiene and enrichment directly from the platform.
Available Services
Data enrichment options include:
- NCOA: Updates mailing addresses based on the National Change of Address database
- Dedupe: Identifies and resolves duplicate contact records
- Deceased Finder: Flags contacts identified as deceased
- Reverse Email Append: Appends contact data based on known email addresses
- Email Validation: Verifies email deliverability and validity
- Cell Append: Appends available mobile phone numbers to contact records
Tailored to Your Campaign Needs
You are not required to enrich your entire database.
Whether you are preparing a specific donor segment for an upcoming campaign or setting up recurring data hygiene checks, CharityEngine allows you to tailor enrichment requests based on what you need and when you need it.
How to Activate Data Enrichment
To initiate data enrichment or NCOA request:
- Navigate to Automation > General
- Select Activate Data Enrichment
- Follow the prompts to submit your request
Once submitted, the CharityEngine team will process the request and apply updates to your records as appropriate.
Note: If any selected enrichment services are not included in your current plan, CharityEngine will provide a pricing estimate for review and approval before executing the request.
